Functionality/Use
Note: The following is from the v1 home page, some of which still applies. It will be updated to v2 as time permits.
When cycling through the list of locations (the source and destination lists are identical), you will notice that there is some ancillary information associated with each location including the Src Lat/Lon, the Dest Lat/Lon (if a portal), the Levels (or Restrictions), the closest Town via a direct route, and a Description. Not all locations have the Levels and Description field filled in at this time. I simply haven't been able to check every single one at this time -- so please send help update information at AC Warcry.
When cycling through the list of routes, you will notice a few things:
- The "Original Distance" is the distance traveled in a straight line from the source to the destination.
- The "Route Distance" is the distance traveled when traveling along the currently selected route. Note that roads, obstacles, and height of terrain are not taken into account here so actual distance traveled when taking a route may be longer. There is simply no way to work around this without having the 3D terrain data.
- "Savings" is simply the difference between the "Original Distance" and the "Route Distance".
For any item that appears in the output window, you may double click it to see and level restrictions and/or description that might be available.
