How to Join the Avatars of Justice

The purpose of this form is to allow current members of the Avatars of Justice a place to direct prospective members who would like to be considered for membership. Current AoJ members please take note:

a) Only prospective members should be responding to this form!!! Please do not take it upon yourself to post any commentary on any prospective member here on this form. Any such posts will only be moderated away into the ether!!!

b) Avatars and Magistrates may want to "subscribe" to this form so they will receive email notifications when new applicants post here.

note: Applicants on or before April 27, 2004 need not go through the process listed below. You are already being considered.

Step I

Prospective members will require a sponsor before replying to this form. If you do not have a sponsor within the AoJ your application will not be considered going forward. Any AoJ member will do for an initial sponsor, but more is required then sponsorship, but sponsorship is the first step.

Step II

Once you have a sponsor, you then need to register in our system here at the webiste before you will be able to respond to this post. Once registerd at the site, please then post the following information in response to this form:

1) The name(s) of the character(s) applying.

2) The name of your sponsor (one sponsor is fine for multiple characters).

3) Your reasons for wanting to join.

4) Describe briefly your relationship with the sponsor (e.g., "I've known them for 10 years." or "I met them in game and have been teamed with them for the past few nights."

5) What your playstyle is like and what you're looking to get out of the game, the AoJ, etc. Basically we want to get to know you and your character a little.

6) When you play and/or the timezone you're in (no limits this is more for who to direct you to).

7) Anything else you'd like to tell us.

Step III

At this point your sponsor will be contacted (in game or out of game) for verification. Once verified, you will be contacted in your in game email with the name of an AoJ member who ranks as Avatar or Magistrate (our other rank is Justicer). If your sponsor is already a Magistrate or Avatar, then you're one step ahead of the game, as you have already spent some time with your sponsor. If your sponsor is a Justicer, then you will need to spend some time teaming with the ranking member who's name you have been given. It is your responsibility to contact them, they will not be contacting you.

After spending some time with them the ranking member will have the right to approve you for membership and invite you into the AoJ or not.
